Remploy exists to improve the lives of disabled people and those with complex needs through the power of work. We believe that everyone has something to offer. So we work to find their strengths. Once we know their skills, we match them to proper jobs with carefully chosen employers who help them achieve.
An exciting future
On 7 April 2015, 70 years after it was formed, Remploy left government ownership in a joint venture between MAXIMUS, an international company providing health and employment services on three continents, and Remploy’s employees who have a 30% stake in the new business.
Freeing Remploy from government control means we have the ability to expand, move into new markets, borrow to grow and pursue international opportunities MAXIMUS brings commercial knowledge and expertise to the joint venture and works with Remploy to build on its existing success. We take the long view
We believe in building careers not simply filling short-term roles. We also know how every disability affects the chance of a job. That’s why we use a number of ways to help people prepare and get into work.
Plus once in a job, we continue to help them with long-term support and advice. We can even help with career guidance if they want to change their role. The result is full, happy independent lives.

We feel it’s only right that people have simple and easy access to our services. That’s why we invest heavily in 64 branches across Britain. These are always ready to give individual care to those who need it, along with our full range of support and advice.
And we’re proud to say that in the five years from 2010 to 2015 we helped almost 100,000 people get a real job.
