Organisation details

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People

Organisation type: Other

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People train dogs to alert deaf people to specific sounds, whether in the home, workplace or public buildings. These dogs change lives by keeping their deaf partners safe, encourage and enable independant living, provide companionship and social interaction, and make the disability visable. Hearing dogs for deaf children have a significant impact on the child's academic studies and well being, and on family life in general.
