Organisation details

Domestic Violence Intervention Project (DVIP)

Organisation type: Voluntary or Community Sector

Our work in Haringey (and across London) involves the self or agency referral of any adult who has been using violence or other abusive behaviours towards their partner or ex-partner and wants support to make changes to this behaviour. We deliver assessments, group and 1-2-1 interventions, and we offer parallel long term support for all partners / ex-partners who may be affected by the perpetrator's behaviour.

We also offer services for adolescents using aggression and abuse towards their parents, carers or siblings.  THis work id delivered on a 1-2-1 basis, and includes support work with the parent(s).

You can read more about our services and how we help on the pages Services for men and women, Supporting parents and For young people.

We run services for men who have been violent to their partner, and for women who have suffered domestic violence.  We support parents and children affected by domestic violence.

We work with people across London, from all walks of life. With over 25 years of experience, we aim to help people end the cycle of domestic abuse, for good.
