Next Step Support Ltd
Organisation type: Voluntary or Community Sector
CORONA VIRUS (COVID 19)
During these unprecedented times we are taking measures to ensure everyones safety whilst maintaining our Supported Living Services. We are still able to consider taking new referrals, but will seek to obtain information in advance, in writing and will initially hold telephone assessments. Every referral will be managed on a individual case by case basis.
Next Step Support Limited is an established provider of Supported Living Accommodation services in Enfield and the surrounding communities. Our services are open to adults and transitioning young adults, from all backgrounds and allow our clients to develop and maximise their ability to live independently within their own homes from the age of 18.
The Supported Living Accommodation you choose will be your home, and you will have a Tenancy Agreement. You will want to live independently, but may need help with some things and might want to understand and manage your choices better.
You will take part in agreeing your support plan and tell us what things are important to you. This is known as a Person Centred Plan. We will encourage you to respect yourself and others, live safely, eat healthy and be active within the community. We will review how things are going and work with you to make better choices and to achieve new goals.
Our support workers will use the plan to support you, and you will soon get to know them and they will get to know you.
Your Support Team
Next Step Support Limited has a highly skilled team of dedicated and friendly staff who are passionate about the work that they do. Support workers will support you on a day to day basis to meet your goals and enable you to do the things you want to do. One of your support workers will become your key worker.
Support workers have easy and direct access to our experienced management team for advice during day to day activities, and line management for supervision and mentoring i.e planning their own personal training and development. We provide a wide range of in-house and externally sourced training for our staff, including selected training from specialist organisations. This enables the support team to adapt and manage a wide range of new and changing client’s needs, and continue to provide a high quality level of person centred support. New support workers will work towards completing Induction Training and QCF framework qualifications, with QCF Level 2 Health and Social Care, being the minimum requirement.
