Organisation details

Livability

Organisation type: Other

Livability is the disability charity that connects people with their communities.

We tackle social isolation and the barriers that can cause this in the lives of disabled and vulnerable people.

Within our provider services, we put the elements in place that all adds up to connected lives and communities, building community around the people we support. We value family, friendships, volunteers and community connections to enhance peoples' lives.

Each of our residential homes are unique having different specialisms for a range of disabilities and associated conditions, with three registered as nursing homes for working aged adults.  Brookside House in Edgeware offers individualised self-contained accommodation for working aged adults and the over 65s with activities and trips out.

All our homes offer modern living accommodation and person-centred care, looking at the whole person and building on individual strengths together with community assets.

Referrals for our care centres are made via your funding authority (local authority) or Clinical Commissioning Groups.  We also welcome self-funders.

Please contact us if you would like any advice about your care.
