Haringey Migrant Support Centre
Organisation type: Voluntary or Community Sector
HMSC provides a weekly drop-in service for migrants, offering advice and signposting on immigration, housing, welfare and healthcare issues. It also provides advocacy services and practical support. People of any immigration status are welcome.
No appointment is necessary. The Drop-in Centre is open every Monday from 12:00 noon when we start to register all visitors, but people often arrive earlier and wait outside (unfortunately we can’t invite people inside as we cannot use the hall before 12).
Please note that we are extremely busy these days so be prepared for long waiting times.
We are not able to give priority to visitors who need to pick up children from school so please make other arrangements in advance.
We can normally see up to 40 visitors and sometimes have to turn people away. We are usually full by 1pm.
If you are coming to seek advice on immigration, housing or welfare, please bring all relevant documents.
