Ex-Service personnel / Veteran's project
Our mission is to provide vital wellbeing support to our Ex-Services community, creating positive change through a combination of 1-2-1 sessions, group work and social activities.
We aim to reduce feelings of isolation and equip veterans with useful coping skills that can be applied in their everyday lives.
We primarily work with Ex-Service personnel in Haringey but will consider veterans from across London.
Spouses/dependents are also welcome, as they may feel the impact of their family members experiences vicariously.
Project services are FREE of charge for veterans and their families.
Activities on offer are:
- One-to-One Wellbeing sessions for up to 12 weeks.
- After accessing the Wellbeing sessions, veterans will have access to the “Coping with life skills” CBT-based course. These are 6-week courses focused on topics such as: Anxiety, Depression, Self esteem, Anger management.
- Ex-Services Drop in taked place on the first and third Thursday of every month 11.30am -1pm. RSVP not required - please drop by for an informal chat and cup of tea!
